Pacific
Northwest Marine operates out of Bellingham, Washington State where we
take pride in the wealth of opportunity for outdoor recreation on water
and land. We are owned and operated by Cascade GPS. The use of GPS
navigation systems is just part of everyday living while hiking in the
Cascade Mountains, boating the San Juan Islands of Puget Sound or
finding urban locations by car or on foot.
Ordering:
INTERNATIONAL
ORDERS: Please note that our online shopping cart only accepts credit
cards from USA banks. You must contact us for a shipping quote for
orders going outside the USA or for non USA credit cards. Foreign cards
may require an additional small processing fee If you succeed in
authorizing your non USA card, we will have to void the order and
contact you to process the order manually. In some cases, we may need
to require a bank wire transfer on larger orders.

fastest way to receive your order because our online site is fully
integrated with our shipping department. We accept Visa/Mastercard, Discover, AmEx
in our shopping cart. In most cases, we must ship to your billing
address due to high rates of credit card fraud on alternate addresses.
NOTICE: If you need to send the package to an alternate address, please
contact the phone number on the back of your card and have that address
listed as an alternate address before placing the order. To fight
credit card fraud, we follow up on orders with different billing and
shipping addresses. You may also send to your billing address and forward the items or use a bank wire transfer.

Quality Guaranteed:
All products sold in our store are brand new, retail version and carry
a full factory warranty. We do not sell refurbished products unless we
clearly specify them in both the title and description of an item.
Pricing:
Prices are quoted for immediate sale. We will make every effort to
honor quoted prices, but can't guarantee telephone quotes or published
prices for more than 7 days. Special volume and package pricing is
available. Due to worldwide currency fluctuations, we suggest you call
to confirm pricing. All prices are subject to change without notice,
and while Pacifc NW Marine has made every attempt to produce a
technically correct catalog, mistakes in photo, content and pricing may
occur and we are not responsible for such errors.
Shipping:
Orders of in-stock items generally ship within 24 hours of orders and
often ship the same day or the next business day. All orders are
normally shipped via UPS Ground, fully insured. At your request, we can
ship UPS, Fed Ex, DHL or USPS for next day, 2nd Day, 3-Day or ground
shipping. . Shipping charges are based on actual freight charges, plus
insurance. We will always attempt to reduce the number of packages
being shipped in order to minimize the cost to you. We will ship
outside Canada or the USA only after you contact us for shipping rates
and approval. Shipping costs are generally non-refundable in the event
of a return or exchange. NOTE: Delivery dates are only guaranteed with
UPS 3-day, UPS overnight, UPS 2-day air, and DHL flat rate (2 business
days or less). Time in transit does not include weekends.
NOTICE TO APO SHIPMENTS:
Due to the higher cost of handling and shipping APO bound packages, we
may add an additional $4 handling fee for APO addresses. This will be
placed on your credit card within 48 hours of the order.
NOTICE:
Missing items in the box must be reported within 72 hours from delivery
to your address. After this point we cannot send missing parts unless
the manufacturer cooperates. Many products come with multiple parts.
Please check the packing list for each item you order.
Warranty/Return Policy:
Return Authorization numbers are required on all returned items
purchased within 30 days of delivery. Any items over 30 days are to be
returned directly to the manufacturer for repair if defective. We
cannot accept returns for non-defective units beyond 30 days of
delivery-see more details below. All unwanted returned units must be Complete and in Factory Packaging and appear brand new for full credit.
After the first 30 days, all units requiring Service, either Warranty
or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate
Manufacturer.
All of our
products are fully guaranteed by the manufacturer. The complete
warranty is included with any product for sale at Pacific NW Marine.
The manufacturers' warranty covers repair or replacement of defective
parts, subject to the conditions set forth, in most cases up to one
year or more.
Note: Software cannot be returned. At Pacific NW MArine we will exchange defective units and parts at no cost (shipping excluded)
to the customer within 30 days of shipment. After the 30-day period,
customers must contact the manufacturer for direct return or repair
information. Customers seeking to return, not exchange,
defective items will be subject to up to a 5% restocking fee for
defective parts. Customers may also replace defective items with other
items of equal or greater value without a restocking fee; you are not
obligated to replace with the same model. We only only settle the
difference in price.
We will accept returns for unwanted items within 30 days of shipment. For unopened items, there is a 5% return fee to receive our store credit, but for a refund there is a 15% restocking fee. For opened
items (excluding software), there is a 5-15% fee to receive store
credit, or up to 20% fee to receive a refund. Please do not write on
the manual if you suspect you may need to return.
Units that have been installed, severely scratched, or abused will not be accepted for return or credit. In addition, any software that has been opened can only be returned directly to the manufacturer.
We do not refund shipping costs
on returns or exchanges. In order to avoid credit card fees, we may opt
to refund by a business check on certain returns. We are able to keep
prices low for you by not building shipping refunds into the product
price and by settling large sum refunds by check.
NOTE:
Software cannot be returned once opened. All exchanged/returned
merchandise must be in original factory condition, including all
packaging materials, inserts and manuals, and all accessories. Please
do not tape or write anything on the item or the package! Before you
send merchandise back, please be sure to check that you have not left
any of your own memory cards or other accessories in the unit.
To Return product(s) to Pacific NW Marine, please provide the following information on a sheet of paper:
1) Original Order Number and RMA# (we will forward RMA)
2) Billing Name and Address:
3) Reason for Return
4) Indicate if you seek a refund or a replacement (if so, whether you want the same item or a different one)
Place
this sheet in the box with the product(s) you are returning and contact
us first for return address since this address varies, depending on the
model.
Please Note: We cannot
be held responsible for packages until they are delivered to us, so
please use a trackable and insured means of shipping (UPS or Fedex) or
at least get Delivery Confirmation with USPS priority mail. For most
returns, the customer is responsible for all shipping fees.
Please check your order as soon as it is received. We
allow only 48 hours from time of delivery to make any claims for
missing items. If your package arrived open please check contents
before you accept the package. Make delivery personnel know of any
problems.
Once we receive your return we will ship your replacement or process your credit within 4-7 days. When returning an item, please do not initiate a chargeback with your credit card company.
We will credit your card for your return, and a chargeback results in
excessive additional costs to us, which we will be forced to pass on to
the customer. We vigorously work with law enforcement authorities to
investigate and prosecute the fraudulent use of credit cards. Please
contact us if there are any discrepancies on your card statement.
If
there is a dispute of any kind, we will work with the customer to
achieve a fair resolution. Our goal is complete customer satisfaction.
